The Morhart SSAS
The Morhart SSAS is designed for small to medium businesses with shareholding directors. Each SSAS is set up individually and governed as a trust, operating as a separate legal entity to the company that sponsors it.
It provides the flexibility you need to ensure your pension scheme provides for you, your family, business partners and your company. As a member and trustee of the SSAS you will have control over how the scheme operates and is invested.
The Morhart SSAS is a tax efficient product which allows a wide range of investment opportunities from cash deposits and quoted equity to UK commercial land and property. In addition to borrowing from a commercial lender, in some circumstances the SSAS may borrow from - or lend to - the limited company on commercial terms for the purpose of its trade.
The Morhart SSAS also allows full flexibility in how you draw your benefits from the scheme. We offer flexible pension payment dates, which can be paid from the fund after age 55 (57 from 6 April 2028) using income drawdown. A proportion of the benefits can be paid as a tax-free lump sum.
A lifetime annuity can be purchased at any time, although there is no requirement to do so.
