Already have a SSAS?

If you already have a SSAS and, for whatever reason, are looking to change your existing SSAS provider, we can take over the administration easily, with just a small amount of input from you.

We do not charge a fee to take over the administration and a list of our annual fees can be found here.

The process

Upon completion of the relevant takeover forms, we will contact your existing SSAS and investment providers to get the transfer underway. Your existing investments will be registered to include our professional trustee, Grace Trustees, and a new trustee bank account will be set up with Cater Allen Private Bank which you will be able to view online.

If you already have a bank account which is used to collect investment income such as rental payments, you can choose to keep this if you wish. We will be as flexible as possible to meet your requirements.

As well as the registration of assets, we will ensure that the important things continue like the paying of pensions, reporting to HMRC, progressing of new investments etc.

Throughout the process, you will have access to our proprietary online system (HOPE) which enables you to view your scheme. We will also keep you up to date with the progress of the takeover and will inform and update all regulators such as HMRC, TPR and the ICO.

We aim to complete a takeover within one month, often quicker, but it is dependent on your existing SSAS provider and the complexity of your investments. You can view our Service Level Agreement (SLA) here.
